About Page of Pots
Page of Pots is a pottery studio inspired by magic, nature, and all the most whimsical things this world has to offer. From dish ware, to home decor, to accessories, our goal is to make things that bring a little (or a lot) of magic to the items you use every day.
Everything at Page of Pots is made by hand, one at a time. People have been making beautiful things out of mud and sticks since the dawn of time. Why stop now?
What does Page of Pots mean?
When I’m not spinning pottery, you can probably find me shuffling a tarot deck, and that’s where I found our muse: the Page of Cups.
Like most cards in the deck, you can ask different people what the Page of Cups represents and get a different answer every time. If you ask me, I’d sum our Page’s core message as curiosity. Creatively and emotionally, the Page of Cups approaches things with wonder and whimsy. After all, anyone who carries their pet fish around with them in a goblet probably isn’t taking life too seriously.
That’s the attitude I’m trying to approach art-making with. When I’m starting to get too in my head about making my art too serious, heady, or perfect, the Page of Cups reminds me that it’s not that deep… and if it’s not feeling fun anymore, I better change directions.
About the Potter
My name is Wendy Linh, and I’m a potter, writer, and multidisciplinary artist. I spent the first decade of my adult life rotting away in a corporate career, but I could never shake what my intuition was screaming at me: that I wasn’t supposed to stuff my art into the margins of my life. And with that realization made, Page of Pots was born.
